The Rivæ Candle Gift Set is a trio of botanical candles designed to layer complementary scent profiles throughout your living spaces. Each composition brings a distinct character: the crisp brightness of conifer paired with stone fruit sweetness, the grounded warmth of aged wood and herbal infusion, and the bold vitality of root spice balanced with citrus zest.

This collection adapts naturally to open-concept interiors or rotates seamlessly through changing seasons. With a moderate diffusion, these candles integrate into daily routines without dominating the environment, making them well-suited for extended use in bedrooms, living areas, or workspaces where subtlety and refinement are valued.

  • The First Burn: For the first use, allow the wax to melt across the entire surface to the edges of the jar (approx. 2 hours). This prevents "tunneling" and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle.
  • Trim the Wick: Before each light, trim the wick to 1/4" (6 mm). This ensures a clean, steady flame and prevents soot or large flames.
  • Burn Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps preserve the fragrance oils and prevents the glass from overheating.
  • Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable objects, children, and pets.
  • When to Stop: Discontinue use when only 1/2" (1 cm) of wax remains at the bottom of the jar to prevent heat damage to the container or surface.
  • Reuse Your Jar: Once finished, wash the jar with warm soapy water to repurpose it as a pencil holder, planter, or small storage jar.
